Meet Ashley

Hey there! I’m Ashley, the creator behind Stepp Into Elementary, a space designed to help teachers build a classroom that feels like their home away from home!

I created this space with a primary goal to provide teachers with quality, cute, and functional resources that bring joy to their classrooms and inspire students, while ultimately helping teachers make their lives easier!

Whether you’re looking for vibrant bulletin board sets, seasonal classroom themes, or organizational tools, I’ve got you covered! My resources are designed to save you time and add a touch of happiness to your school year.

My Experience

I began creating my own classroom décor during my second year of teaching because I struggled to find décor that allowed me to create a cohesive look throughout my room. I found myself stressing out in an environment that felt unorganized and dull. I wanted to create a space my students would love—a classroom they’d be happy to call their home away from home!

Once I started designing my classroom to feel more welcoming and organized, I noticed a huge shift in my students’ behaviors and attitudes. Everything felt more functional, structured, and organized, which made a difference in both my stress levels and theirs. The positive change in the classroom environment was incredible! My goal is to take this task off your plate and to help you have more time to do the tasks you need to do! After all, we know teachers have a job that never stops!

More About Me

When I’m not creating resources, you’ll likely find me spending time with my family. I’m married, have three kids (with one more on the way), and a dog, and we LOVE spending time outside on our family farm! Although this stage of life can be a little crazy, I love every single second of this life I have been blessed with!

A Big Thank You!

Over the past almost five years of creating classroom décor and seasonal resources, I’ve found a community of teachers who share the same goal: to make their classrooms a place of joy, organization, and structure. I’m so grateful you’re here and that you choose to use my resources in your classroom. It’s an honor to be a small part of your teaching journey!
